The Clothes4Communities Voucher Program provides dignified, choice-based clothing support for children, youth, and families in need throughout our region. Vouchers may be accessed through referrals from partnering local agencies, schools, and community organizations. Each program can be fully tailored to meet the fiscal budget needs of any agency, allowing organizations to pre-purchase voucher packages that best align with their mission, funding capacity, and service population. Through this flexible model, we work together to ensure families receive high-quality clothing essentials while supporting a sustainable and community-driven resource.
Dear Community Organization,
I hope you and your team are doing well. My name is Kimberly Brewer, and I am writing on behalf of Deja‑Me on Main, a community‑focused clothing store in Clarion . We recently launched a pre‑purchased voucher program designed to ensure that individuals and families experiencing hardship have dignified access to clothing while helping sustain the Clothes4Communities program that serves our community.
Purpose: To provide affordable, dignified shopping opportunities for people facing crises such as recent unemployment, foster care placement, domestic violence, homelessness, fire loss or other emergencies. Vouchers are redeemable at Deja‑Me on Main for essential clothing items.
Personalized shopping: Clients will be invited to shop by appointment at our second location or during business hours, 200 Grand Avenue, Suite 160, Clarion PA 16214, where they will enjoy a one‑on‑one shopping experience and assistance from our team.
How It Works: Agencies, churches and community partners purchase vouchers (for example, $50 per voucher). Each voucher is redeemable for 5 outfits or 10 individual items. You may distribute these vouchers directly to clients or refer them to us so we can coordinate distribution. Recipients can redeem them for clothing at our store, and we track redemption and provide reports so you can monitor use. Pricing can be tailored to meet program needs. Pricing may be waived on eligible circumstances.
Guidelines: Vouchers are non‑transferable, expire after 365 days, and can be used only for clothing, shoes and basic accessories—no cash back or resale is permitted. This helps ensure that voucher funds are used responsibly and that the program remains sustainable.
Meet Critical Needs: Many of your clients may lack access to clean, well‑fitting clothing—especially during periods of transition. Our voucher program offers them choice and dignity in selecting what they need.
Cost‑Effective Solution: Because vouchers are prepaid, your organization controls spending upfront. This prevents unexpected expenses and ensures that funds are allocated to legitimate needs.
Support Local Mission: Deja‑Me on Main is committed to serving the community; voucher revenue helps us pay rent and keep our Clothes4Communities program open. Partnering with us means investing in a local resource that benefits the same families you serve.
Easy Administration: We provide serial‑numbered vouchers, simple tracking, and monthly reports. Agencies can set limits per client (e.g., one voucher every six months) based on your internal policies.
We invite you Organization to join our network of participating agencies. As a partner, you would:
Purchase a block of vouchers in the denomination(s) that suit your budget and client base.
Distribute the vouchers to clients who meet your eligibility criteria, or provide referrals so we can coordinate distribution.
Collaborate with us on feedback and improvements to ensure the program meets clients’ needs and aligns with your mission.
We are eager to tailor the program to fit your organization’s processes and would love the opportunity to discuss this further. Please feel free to contact me at 814-227-9232 or via email at dejameonmain@gmail.com . I would be glad to answer any questions you have or schedule a brief meeting at your convenience.
Thank you for considering this partnership. Together we can provide much‑needed clothing assistance to our neighbors while strengthening the network of support in our community. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Sincerely,
